Abstract

The second procedure developed for implementing the model is the one related to the MONITORING function,¡ which is validated in the case study firm and is directed to design a Technological and Competitive Monitoring
System in Cuban livestock firms, with the objective of obtaining information about their environment related to the technological, innovation and commercial processes; such information, together with that supplied by the INVENTORY function, allows to formulate the Technological Strategy of the firm. In this MONITORING, a group of critical areas are used on which there must be information, and a specific procedure for the conditions of Cuban livestock firms is proposed, which is validated in the case study firm.
