Abstract

The first procedure developed for implementing the model is the one related to the INVENTORY function,
which is validated in the case study firm, and is directed towards diagnosing the technological and innovation processes in the Cuban livestock firms, from a technological audit or inventory that, together with the information existing in the environment provided by the MONITORING function, allows to formulate the
Technological Strategy of the firm. In this technological audit, a group of integral indicators are used, such
as the innovation rate of the livestock firm (IRLF), the organizational excellence of the livestock firm (OEF)
and the satisfaction level of the workers (SLW), and also the technological patrimony dominated by the firm is inventoried (classifying each technology and locating in the “S” curve), the innovating performance of the organization is evaluated and the Training Needs of the Management and Technical Staff are determined.
