Keywords:
feed quality, forages, droughtAbstract
The need to preserve forages for times of scarcity has required enormous efforts from scientists and farmers in order to offer the animals a feedstuff as little disturbed as possible in relation to the original material. According to the literature and research results, chemical preservatives have good potential to be successfully used to improve the fermentative and nutritional quality of tropical silages. The research showed that there are specificities in the responses of tropical forages according to the preservative and the dose used.
