Abstract

An experiment was carried out in order to determine the limiting nutrients of two (typical Carbonate Humic and gley Yellowish Ferralitic) soils. Missing element technic was used and rhodes grass was utilized as indicator. A randomized block design with four repetitions was used and pots were periodically randomized. Two cuttings were made during flowering emergence. No limiting elements were found in the normal growth and development of the plant during the establishment period; therefore, the concentrations of different nutrients in the soil are assumed to be adequate.
