Abstract

Results obtained from a statistical analysis conducted to analytical DM residue determinations, CF, CP and ash (described by Weende grass and forage analysis system) were reported and considered in order to introduce in the agricultural and livestock analytical laboratories the indications suggested by the International Standardization Organization (ISO) for indicating the maximum permissible differences in results of parallel analysis when dealing with repetitive conditions. Four Cuban institutions working with these material analysis took part in the study; reliability of
measuring equipments, assay to use and uniformity of methods to be used by these institutions, were quaranteed. Taking into consideration the metrological rigour for obtaining the results, the reference of values from; 1,23; 1,35; 0,59 and 0,57 units are recommended to be used as the maximum permissible difference among two parallel
analysis for determining DM residue, CF, CP and ash respectively, conducted on adequated representative forage samples concerning with cutting season and composition range.
